This week we present you the American pianist and composer Timothy M. Thorson. Listen to his beautiful Sonatina for piano:

Timothy was born 1968 in La Jolla, California. He got his first piano instruction at Royal Conservatory, Toronto, in Canada 1975. He studied music (piano, organ, composition) in USA, France and Germany.
His teachers were Conrad Hansen (privately, Hamburg), Caio Pagano (Arizona State Univ.), Gregor Weichert (Hochschule f. Musik, Münster, NRW). His most memorable experience during studies were the private instructions 1988 with Mâitre Jean Langlais (1907-1991) in Paris. He lives in Berlin since 2006.
